VOTE FOR EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND PROVEN RESULTS
VOTE FOR DAVID WILSON
Kyle continues to need people with vision, experience and talent working for them on the Kyle City Council. It is more important today than ever! We can be just another ordinary community along the Interstate, or we can be the best community in Hays County. David has proven that he has the vision and knowledge to get the most cost effective results for our city - like keeping taxes low while delivering the maximum quality of services for our citizens.
David Wilson wants to continue to work to attract quality, high-paying jobs for our citizens. He believes we are experiencing an increase in medical technology jobs as a result of the City of Kyle’s investment in bringing Seton Hospital to our city. With Austin Community College breaking ground on FM 1626, our citizens can obtain the training for medical and high tech jobs that will continue to be attracted to our city. Wilson’s vision is for Kyle to become the medical hub for Hays County and surrounding areas.

David Wilson will continue to promote economic development that sustains BOTH the interests of small business and larger projects. Kyle needs BOTH for a diverse economy – and to create a vital, livable city with a promising future. This effort will assist us in increasing sales tax collections which enable us to keep our City Property Tax the lowest in comparable-sized cities in Central Texas.
BUY LOCAL AND HELP YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS KEEP THE PROPERTY TAX LOW WITHOUT CUTTING NEEDED SERVICES!
Our Kyle economy is strong! Let’s keep it that way.
Re-elect David Wilson to the Kyle City Council for District 4.
The City of Kyle must continue to successfully implement the transportation projects on IH-35 and to pursue additional water sources for our future needs. These are not light projects but require heavy lifting from a skilled, experienced and hard working City Councilman. David Wilson is that person. He is knowledgeable about the issues facing us concerning water and was elected to serve as Chairman of the Hays Caldwell Public Utility Agency by his fellow members of that board including City of San Marcos Council Member Kim Porterfield, San Marcos City Manager Jim Nuse, Buda City Manager Kenneth Williams, Canyon Regional Director David Davenport and City of Kyle Mayor Lucy Johnson. Wilson is up to the difficult task of bringing additional water to our community.
You can count on David Wilson’s continued efforts to improve safety for our children. Whether it is sidewalk safety, effective policing by our Kyle Police Department or support of the red alert system to notify us in cases of child emergency, he will work to keep our community safe. He has also been an enthusiastic supporter of the Kyle Volunteer Fire Department since he moved to Kyle some 15 years ago.
Notable improvements to our city during David Wilson’s tenure on the Kyle City Council include: Opening of Seton Hospital, Target, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Vantage Apartments in Plum Creek, Stepping Stone School in Plum Creek, Trust Texas Bank, Legend Oaks Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Austin Regional Clinic, Doctors at Seton, St. David’s Emergency Medical Clinic, HEB’s Medical Clinic, CVS, Walgreen’s, Petco, McDonald’s, Chick-Fil-A, Reopening of our Historic City Hall, completion of a new Public Works facility (for city water and waste water), ground breaking of a new 20,000 sq ft library, and improvements to IH 35.
This is a testament to the confidence of a community in itself as well as the confidence of business investors in our bright future. Let’s keep the vision of excellence alive.
David Wilson has shown true conservative principles by being the only Kyle City Council Member who does not accept any City Council pay. Other council members have proposed large percentage increases in pay which are included in the upcoming Charter election. Wilson opposes any increases in payment for city councilmen. The current economic times dictate that we be careful with every one of our taxpayer dollars.
The City of Kyle needs a City Councilman who will listen to the people and respond effectively to their needs. David Wilson has been the person that we have counted on over the last three years. Keep David Wilson on the Kyle City Council and working for the citizens.
