Christie Smith has over 20 years experience writing and editing in a professional capacity, more than ten years layout/design experience, and several years web design experience as a certified webmaster.
Her work experience spans both for-profit and non-profit businesses, as well as stints in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force Reserves. She is a graduate of the Defense Information School Basic Journalism Course, and was the top graduate of her class, and the Basic Broadcasting Course in which she graduated second. She has a Communications BA from University of Missouri-Kansas City and an MA in American Studies / Historic Preservation from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. Her LinkedIn profile is here.
